Open House Roma, organizzato dall’associazione culturale Open City Roma, fa parte del circuito Open House Worldwide, un’organizzazione internazionale con sede centrale a Londra, dove il progetto è nato. Ad oggi, Open House si svolge ogni anno in 19 città del mondo, promuovendo la qualità dell’architettura e coinvolgendo milioni di cittadini e turisti nella scoperta delle città.
Il 4 e 5 maggio 2013 la casa di paglia al Quadraro ha aperto le sue porte nell’ambito della seconda edizione di Open House Roma.
La prima edizione, che si è svolta il 5 e il 6 maggio 2012, ha registrato numeri record: oltre 26.000 visitatori, più di 100 siti aperti, più di 100.000 visitatori sul sito nei giorni dell’evento.

OpenHouseRoma is organized by the ‘Open City Roma’ cultural association, which is part of the London based wider committee called ‘Open House Worlwide’. As of today, the event takes place every year, in 19 cities around the world, promoting quality architecture and involving millions of citizens and tourists in the discovery of such cities.
On 4th and 5th May 2013, the straw bale house in the Quadraro neighborhood opened its doors, as part of the second edition of OpenHouseRoma.
The first edition (which took place 5th and 6th May 2012), registered over 26 000 visitors, more than 100 open venues and over 100. 000 web hits, just during the days of the event.
